13th Annual Harvest Moon Race
Please note that due to COVID 19 restrictions in-person registration is limited to 200 participants. A virtual race option is available.
500 are expected for the Thirteenth Annual Harvest Moon 10 mile run and 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, November 14th. The race starts and finishes at St. Philip’s Church at 1629 Beaver Grade Road in Moon Township. Races will be chip-timed. Under normal circumstances, all racers and supporters can enjoy great post-race activities including food, music, and the awards ceremony and raffle prizes. Due to COVID 19 there will be no post race activities in 2020. “The Harvest Moon Run course is mildly challenging, but beautiful with mainly tree-lined streets as it winds its way through Moon Township, passing both Moon Township Park and the Country Club” said previous Race Director Kevin Smith. Aid stations will be every 1.25 miles and will provide basic first aid, water, energy gels and sport drink. EMS will be on hand for major injuries. The race will take place rain or shine.
Refund Policy: The Harvest Moon Race benefits the student ministry of St. Philip’s. Because it is a charitable event we ask that you consider donating your race registration fee in the event that you are unable to participate in the race. In the event of the cancellation of the In-person Race on November 14th due to COVID 19 we will refund the registration fee if the registration was done on/or before August 31, 2020. Anyone who registers after that date will have the option of attending the virtual race or donating their registration fee to St. Philip’s Student Ministry. There will be no refunds in the unfortunate event that you are injured or are sick and can’t attend if registration was completed after 8-31-20.
